JPG to PNG
Convert a JPG or JPEG photo to PNG without uploading it. PNG is a useful export when you want a widely supported file for editing, screenshots, or graphics. The conversion happens in your browser, and you can crop or resize the same image first.
Your images are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
How to use
- Drop a JPG or JPEG image into the converter. Other formats are declined on this page.
- Leave the output on PNG, or switch it if you change your mind.
- Convert the image. Add more JPG files if you want a batch.
- Download the PNG, or download every converted file as a ZIP.
FAQ
Will converting JPG to PNG improve quality?
No. A JPG has already discarded some detail. Converting it to PNG preserves the current pixels and does not recover the original camera data.
Why is the PNG larger than the JPG?
PNG uses lossless compression. Photographs often take more space as PNG than as JPG. Use the compressor or a WEBP export if a smaller file matters more.
Can I convert several JPGs?
Yes. Add up to 20 JPG files, convert them together, and download a ZIP.
