WEBP to PNG
Convert WEBP images to PNG in the browser when you want a lossless file for editing or a format a tool already accepts. Transparency is preserved. You can convert a single image or a small batch and download a ZIP.
Your images are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
How to use
- Upload a WEBP image.
- Keep PNG selected. Quality is not applied to PNG because the export is lossless.
- Convert the image locally.
- Download the PNG or a ZIP if you converted several files.
FAQ
Is the PNG an exact copy of the WEBP?
It is a lossless PNG of the pixels decoded from the WEBP. If the WEBP itself was lossy, details removed during that earlier save cannot be restored.
Does this keep transparency?
Yes. Transparent pixels in the WEBP remain transparent in the PNG.
The PNG is larger. Is that a problem?
Often, yes, that is expected. PNG files of photos are frequently bigger than WEBP. Use PNG when compatibility or further editing matters more than file size.
